SAFE IN THE USA was created after the 9/11 attacks with the sole purpose of providing a resource guide to those who were interested in gaining knowledge of survival skills to prepare themselves for any future attacks. Since the site's creation, we have had over 14,000 visitors. The site has evolved throughout the years to include some pages for the purpose of entertainment as well as several tributes to the men and women who work diligently to protect the American people.  While protecting our Country against future attacks  is an extremely important issue; we must remember that threats of terror are not limited to the ones perpetrated by our enemies outside our borders. There are millions of Americans facing the terrors every day that are inside our borders. The terrors of child neglect and abuse, or abuse and neglect of the elderly, poverty, drug addiction, rising crime rates and poor quality environmental conditions, are prevalent.  SAFE IN THE USA is taking on a new look and feel as it begins a new chapter in the fight to make our Country a "safer" place to live. It will remain a resource guide with the purpose of increasing public awareness of all the issues.

We must stand united in our fight against all the faces of terror. By gaining knowledge and sharing with others, you may be able to assist someone in getting the help that they need. There is no greater contribution than being able to improve the quality of life for my fellow man.

A special thanks to all the wonderful organizations that have provided the information, links and  materials that made this site possible.

We hope you will visit us often as we will add new information as it comes available to us.
